The Five Flavours Asian Film Festival (10–17 November 2026) is calling for applications for the People's Jury initiative, a volunteer role in which the Grand Prix of the New Asian Cinema competition is decided by cinephiles rather than industry professionals. The jury will consist of nine members from Poland and across Europe, who will meet in Warsaw to watch, discuss, and evaluate the competition films before selecting the Grand Prix winner. The role includes festival accreditation, access to the full workshop programme on film festival programming, and accommodation in a shared double room for the duration of the festival. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, fluent in English, and residents of a European country; Asian diaspora members in Europe are especially encouraged. The application deadline is 31 August 2026, and the application form can be submitted via Google Forms. The festival covers accommodation and local travel within Poland, but applicants must arrange and pay for their own travel to Poland. The festival is organized by the Five Flavours Asian Film Festival, a leading Asian cinema event in Central and Eastern Europe.
