2027-28年度“DownEast”户外雕塑展

The Outdoor DownEast Sculpture Exhibition 2027‑28 is the outdoor component of the DownEast National Juried Sculpture Exhibition, celebrating its 21st year. Organized by the Pitt County Arts Council in partnership with Emerge Gallery & Art Center and other local entities, the exhibition will display large‑scale sculptures at multiple outdoor sites throughout Pitt County, NC, from February 1, 2027 to February 29, 2028. Artists aged 18 or older may submit up to six digital images of their work. Each entry costs $15 for the first piece and $5 for each additional piece (maximum six entries). Selected works receive a $1,200 honorarium, with additional prizes of $1,500 (1st), $750 (2nd), and $500 (3rd). Artists are responsible for installing and removing their sculptures, though venue staff may provide limited assistance. The exhibition offers public exposure, insurance coverage for 70 % of the sales price during the exhibition period, and the opportunity to be part of a prominent public art trail in the region.
