Dixon Place is currently not accepting general submissions, but curators for specific ongoing programs are welcome to submit proposals. The Fast Forward program offers early- and mid‑career dancemakers the chance to present new 25‑35 minute pieces, while the 8 in Show series showcases short works or excerpts by emerging and established choreographers across all dance forms. Additionally, the organization invites curators/producers to propose programs that feature original work in theater, dance, puppetry, hybrid performance, and visual art, with proposals to be sent via email. No application fee is required. While no monetary prize or stipend is offered, selected artists receive the opportunity to present their work at Dixon Place, a renowned experimental performance space in New York City.
