Dharma Kinarya Art Gallery in Yogyakarta offers an interdisciplinary international residency for artists, researchers, musicians, dancers, theatre practitioners, writers, filmmakers, architects, designers, and other creative professionals. The program invites participants to live and work in Yogyakarta, engage with local artists and communities, and use two traditional Javanese pendopo spaces for performances, workshops, and lectures. Residents receive studio and creative working spaces, exhibition opportunities, meetings with Indonesian artists and cultural institutions, museum and gallery visits, and community‑engagement projects such as work with an elderly care home. The residency emphasizes cultural exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and social impact, and is open to individuals and groups from around the world, including expatriates living in Indonesia.
