黛布拉·波奇奖：视觉艺术驻留项目

The Debra Porch Award: Visual Arts Residency, administered by Creative Australia in partnership with UNSW Galleries (Sydney, Australia) and SAC Gallery (Chiang Mai, Thailand), supports one Australian visual artist and one Thai visual artist to undertake reciprocal six‑week residencies in 2027. The Australian artist will receive AUD 10,000 and the Thai artist AUD 13,000 to cover per diems, travel, insurance and living expenses. Accommodation and studio access are provided by the host galleries, along with in‑kind curatorial support, access to specialised workshops and equipment, and the opportunity to present an artist talk or public program at the end of the residency. Applications close on 15 September 2026 (3 pm AEST / 12 pm SEST) and are submitted via Creative Australia’s Application Management System. The award is open to mid‑career visual or interdisciplinary artists who are citizens or permanent residents of Australia or Thailand, able to travel internationally, and who have not previously received the Debra Porch Award. Group applications, organisations, and artists with overdue Creative Australia reports or debts are ineligible. The residency aims to foster long‑term artistic and cultural connections across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Accommodation and studio access, in‑kind curatorial care, access to workshops (screen printing, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, etc.), travel and living stipend, opportunity for artist talk/public program, mentorship from host galleries.

Visual arts or interdisciplinary practice; Australian or Thai citizens/permanent residents; mid‑career artists; must be able to travel internationally; cannot be a group/organisation; must not have overdue Creative Australia reports, owe money, or have previously received the Debra Porch Award.
