The R2AC Artist Support Grant program, made available with funding from the McKnight Foundation, replaces our Individual Artist Grant program from prior years. This grant provides financial assistance to artists/creators/artisans/craftspeople (painters, writers, musicians, dancers, woodcarvers, knitters, filmmakers, sculptors, jewelry makers, poets, potters, basketmakers, etc.) or culture bearers in any stage, beginning to expert, of their creative development.

purchase of materials or equipment to create your work, educational opportunities in arts or culture-bearing activities (excluding academic/college credit), working with a master artist, mentor, or elder to learn new or traditional techniques, attending a national conference or culture-bearing activity, taking part in a residency program to focus on your creative work, marketing your creative work

Eligible artists must be 18 years or older, in any stage of their artistic career, and reside in Beltrami, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods, Clearwater, or Mahnomen County.
