Homesession Residency is a programme designed for visual artists and curators looking to develop their research or projects in Barcelona. The residency lasts from one to three months, providing participants with studio space, accommodation, curatorial guidance, and networking opportunities within the local art scene. The program encourages immersion in a culturally rich neighbourhood at the heart of the city, fostering connections with local practitioners and community engagement. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with no fixed deadline, and the program is free of application fees. The residency supports artists and curators in exploring spatial, performative, temporal, and identity-based concerns, and offers a platform for presenting site‑specific works publicly at the end of each stay.
