Neo Future is a thematic, two‑week residency program hosted by Arteles Creative Center in the rural Finnish countryside. Running from 3 to 18 December 2026, the residency invites artists, designers, writers, technologists, philosophers, scientists and other future‑oriented creatives to explore emerging futures, artificial intelligence, consciousness, human transformation and speculative realities. The program is process‑focused, encouraging experimentation across art, science, design, technology, philosophy and unconventional knowledge. Participants receive studio spaces, private bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, Wi‑Fi, a traditional sauna, a meditation hall, group meetings, curated library, creative tools and equipment, and two resident cars for regional travel. The residency is paid: a regular fee of €1,450 per person (or €1,050 for financially supported participants) plus a €120 registration fee. Applications are due 3 September 2026 and are open to individuals aged 23 and over (younger applicants considered with strong alignment), holding at least a BA degree (exceptions for relevant experience). Children and pets are not allowed, and the program is not suitable for individuals with severe trauma, addiction or ongoing mental health issues. The application process requires an online form; no predefined project proposal is needed. The residency offers a supportive, collaborative environment with voluntary group meetings, meditation sessions, and promotion through Arteles’ online network.
