Joy Engine 2027 JOY 资助计划

Joy Engine, a Milwaukee‑based nonprofit, is launching its 2027 JOY Grants, offering up to $10,000 per project to support free, publicly accessible community art experiences. The grant program seeks unexpected, experimental, and playful ideas that encourage people to stop, look, participate, and gather in their neighborhoods. Eligible applicants include individual visual and performing artists, students, schools, neighborhood associations, community organizations, and qualifying nonprofits that reside or work in the City of Milwaukee. Projects must take place within the applicant’s own neighborhood, be free of admission fees, and be completed by December 31 2027, with documentation of the creative process required. Applicants under 18 must partner with an adult organizer. The application deadline is Monday, November 2 2026, and successful projects will be notified in December 2026. Funding does not cover routine maintenance or recurring events, and standalone murals are only eligible if part of a broader community‑centered initiative. The grant aims to foster joy, community connection, and innovative public art that reshapes how residents experience their city.
