关于此机会
Beginning March 9 2026, the International Documentary Association (IDA) pilots an Emergency Assistance program for documentary filmmakers whose work places them in immediate and extreme physical danger. Eligible applicants must demonstrate a concrete safety plan, risk assessment, necessary travel documents, and provide two references, as well as a secure method to receive funds. Grants range from $500 to $5,000 USD and are transferred via wire or PayPal, with IDA responding within 24 hours. The six‑month pilot runs through September 2026 and will continue on a rolling basis as needs arise. Applications are submitted through an online intake form or via email, and IDA handles all requests confidentially.
