《全球画布2027:生态系统工程师》
David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation
关于此机会
Global Canvas is an annual international art competition organised by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) for children and young people up to 16 years old. The 2027 edition, themed “Ecosystem Engineers”, invites participants to create artworks that celebrate species that shape habitats, such as beavers, elephants, and termites. Entries are accepted from individuals and groups (minimum two participants) and may be submitted in any medium, with a special encouragement for recycled and found materials. The competition opens on 6 October 2026 and closes on 16 February 2027. Applicants submit their work via online entry forms – one for individuals and one for groups – and must agree to the competition’s terms and conditions. Winners in each age category receive art‑supply vouchers, winners’ certificates, and online exhibition of their work; finalists are also featured online. The competition aims to foster creativity, environmental awareness, and conservation advocacy among young artists worldwide. No entry fee is required. The DSWF, a UK‑based wildlife conservation charity founded by artist David Shepherd, runs the competition as part of its broader educational and outreach programmes.
