For its 68th year, Communication Arts magazine presents the 2027 Photography Competition, an internationally‑juried contest that celebrates excellence in photography across commercial, editorial, institutional, and personal contexts. Any photograph first published or produced from March 2026 through March 2027 is eligible, and entries may come from any country. The competition offers multiple categories—including Advertising, Books, Editorial, For Sale, Institutional, Motion/Cinematography, Self‑Promotion, Unpublished, and Student Work—each with specific entry fees detailed in the official Category PDF. Winners are featured in the Communication Arts Photography Annual (both print and digital), receive worldwide exposure on commarts.com, and are awarded a personalized solid‑aluminum Award of Excellence along with a certificate. No cash prize is offered. Submissions are processed through an online system; late entries are accepted until March 26, 2027 for a $10 fee per entry.
