The Museum of Broken Relationships (MBR) operates branches in Zagreb, Croatia and Chiang Mai, Thailand, and maintains a global collection of personal items and stories that illustrate the end of relationships. Through its "Open Call for Contributions" the museum invites anyone worldwide to submit break‑up stories, photographs, objects, or any tangible memory that reflects a personal separation. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis; contributors can select a location (Zagreb or Chiang Mai) and provide details through an online form. There is no application fee, and no monetary prize is offered – the contribution becomes part of the museum’s permanent collection and may be displayed in future exhibitions. Eligibility is open to all individuals regardless of artistic background. The museum encourages diverse formats and cultural perspectives, aiming to build a universal archive of human experience.
