艺术家征集：市中心图书馆中庭窗户艺术委托项目

Public Art Boca, in partnership with the Boca Raton Museum of Art and FAU’s Creative Writing MFA Program, announces a $55,000 all‑inclusive commission for a temporary artwork on the interior atrium windows of the Downtown Boca Raton Public Library. The project, titled Living Anthologies, will respond to a memoir program for residents 55 and older, inviting artists to interpret these stories through any medium. Applicants may be individual visual artists or artist‑led teams from anywhere in the United States. While the call is open to all disciplines, successful candidates will typically have experience with site‑specific, public, or large‑scale works. The application requires a letter of interest, artist statement, CV, up to ten work samples (including video links where appropriate), an annotated work‑sample list, and two professional references. No design is required at the qualification stage. The commission includes a $55,000 all‑inclusive fee covering artist fee, design, project management, and materials, plus a $2,500 honorarium for up to three finalists. Installation is scheduled for August 2027, with the artwork displayed for up to two years. Questions must be submitted by November 13, 2026. The deadline for applications is December 8, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
