Sounds Unseen – New Music Commissioning Programme, run by the British Council in partnership with Sound and Music (UK), invites creators from Germany and ODA‑listed countries (plus UK alumni) to develop new collaborative works for radio broadcast. Selected creators receive a £1,500 commission fee, up to £200 for production expenses and up to £500 for legacy outcomes, together with four online group sessions, three group and two one‑to‑one sessions with a Creative Programme Leader, peer support, portfolio development, and a radio broadcast premiere. The three‑month programme runs from November 2026 to March 2027, with online sessions scheduled flexibly across time zones. Applicants must be 18 years or older on 14 October 2026, work creatively with sound or music, be open to new collaborations, and be available for all online sessions. The call closes on 14 October 2026 (23:59 BST).
