Artudio 国际艺术家驻留项目:在尼泊尔加德满都开启一场改变人生的艺术之旅
关于此机会
Artudio International Artists Residency (AIAR) is a year‑round program based in Kathmandu, Nepal, that welcomes two multidisciplinary artists at a time for stays ranging from one to six months. The residency provides a spacious bedroom with balcony views of the Swayambhunath Stupa, shared kitchen and bathroom facilities, a dedicated workspace, high‑speed internet, and essential services such as airport pick‑and‑drop and weekly housekeeping. Residents also benefit from networking opportunities within Nepal’s art scene, organized exhibitions, presentations, and curated visits to local galleries, museums, and cultural sites.\n\nThe call is open to artists, curators, writers, researchers and interdisciplinary practitioners from any country and discipline, with no specific age or nationality restrictions. Applicants submit an artist statement, portfolio (up to 15 works), project plan, passport copy, application form and a profile photograph via email. While there is no application fee, residency fees apply ranging from $750 for one month to $4,000 for six months, with the option to bring a companion for an additional $10 per day. Residents are encouraged to conduct a workshop for local young artists or students. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for the 2026/27 cycle, allowing artists to secure a spot at any time.\n\nArtudio, a contemporary art centre situated in the historic Swoyambhu area of Kathmandu, offers a culturally rich environment surrounded by UNESCO World Heritage sites, museums, and natural landscapes, providing an inspiring backdrop for creative practice.
