The Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) in partnership with the Kent Cultural Alliance announces an Artist Residency in Maryland. The residency runs for six weeks and provides each selected artist with a $7,500 stipend, up to $1,000 for travel reimbursement, and up to $1,500 for studio expenses. Applications are open to U.S. career artists aged 18 and older; current degree candidates and students are excluded. No application fee is required. The deadline for submissions is 1 December 2026. Selected artists will receive studio space and mentorship during the residency period. This is an annual call, with the next round opening each year.
