2028年驻地艺术家项目提案
Feminist Center for Creative Work
关于此机会
Feminist Center for Creative Work (FCCW) invites proposals for its 2028 Artist in Residence program. The three‑month residency, based in Northeast Los Angeles, offers artists a dedicated studio space, a $7,500 stipend, a production budget, staff support, professional documentation, and assistance in securing additional funding. Selected residents will also have the opportunity for an accompanying publication through Co‑Conspirator Press. The call seeks projects that engage with the theme “The World We Desire,” emphasizing intersectional feminist perspectives, social activation, and community engagement. Applications are open to women, trans, nonbinary, and other gender‑marginalized artists, with a strong encouragement for BIPOC, LGBTQ, disabled creators, and those with deep ties to Southern California. Artists at any career stage may apply, provided they can complete a project of the outlined scope. Proposals must be submitted via the online form by 11:59 PM on Sunday, November 8 2026. FCCW will hold office hours on October 23 and 30 to answer questions. Selected residents will be notified in February 2027, and each residency culminates in a public presentation and collaborative programming.
