AiR in Finland is an international artist‑in‑residence program hosted by Old Mine Residency in the historic mining area of Outokumpu, North Karelia, Finland. The call invites visual artists and researchers from around the world to develop their practice in a unique industrial‑heritage environment surrounded by pristine nature. The residency covers living and workspace expenses, providing accommodation, studio space, shared facilities and a supportive community. Applications are accepted until 30 September 2026 for the 2026 edition. The programme is open to artists and researchers of any age, nationality or career stage; no specific eligibility restrictions are stated. Selected participants receive a fully funded stay, enabling them to focus on their project without financial burden.
