关于此机会

The 2nd Annual Kit Gilbert Juried Showcase is an open, themeless juried exhibition hosted by the Gilbert Center in downtown Ruston, Louisiana, and organized by the Ross Lynn Charitable Foundation. It invites U.S. artists aged 18 and older to submit up to three original works created since 2020 across a range of media—including painting, sculpture, mixed media, textile, ceramics, short video, and photography. Photographs must be framed or mounted; AI‑generated work is not accepted. Each submission requires a 250‑word artist statement. The juror, oil painter Julie Crews, will select a Best‑in‑Show (Juror’s Choice) winner who receives a $750 cash prize, and a People's Choice winner chosen by visitors at the opening reception who receives a $500 cash prize. The exhibition runs from 16 November 2026 to 15 January 2027, with a reception on 19 November. Artists pay a $12 entry fee per artwork, and the Gilbert Center takes a 30 % commission on sales. The showcase offers artists a national platform, exposure to a broad audience, and the opportunity to have their work displayed in a professional gallery setting.
