2027年“Workspace”艺术家驻留项目

Applications are now open for the Center for Book Arts’ 2027 Workspace Artist Residency. The residency invites New York‑based emerging and mid‑career artists from all disciplines to explore the book as a time‑based medium. Over a six‑month period from April to September 2027, selected artists will receive studio space, time, educational and professional development, and financial support to produce and exhibit artists’ books and related work. The program encourages experimentation and offers access to CBA’s workshops, classes, and equipment. Applicants must submit an artist statement, CV, portfolio or work samples, and a brief proposal outlining the project(s) they wish to pursue and the resources they need. The selection panel will review applications in early October, with shortlisted artists invited to a virtual interview in mid‑October. Successful residents will present their work in an artist talk at the conclusion of the residency and participate in a group exhibition in 2029. The residency is open to New York‑based artists; no other geographic restriction is mentioned. The application deadline is September 30 2026.
