2027年伯里恩画廊项目艺术家征集公告
City of Burien
关于此机会
The City of Burien’s Gallery Program is a rotating initiative that places local artists’ work in city and partner‑site spaces for the 2027 exhibition cycle. Artists may submit 2D or 3D works for one of three venues: the Burien Community Center lobby wall (2D only), the Maverick Apartments window (2D or 3D), or the Merrill Gardens Senior Living windows (2D or 3D). Each space offers a different exhibition length and stipend: the BCC wall hosts a two‑month show with a $50 stipend, while the Maverick and Merrill sites host four‑month shows with $250 stipends. Artists are responsible for transportation, installation, and removal of their work; the city does not provide insurance coverage. The city covers wall tags and local promotion, and hanging materials are provided for the BCC space (artist‑provided for the other sites). Applications are juried, with notifications sent in mid‑October 2026. The call is open to individual artists or groups applying together for a single space, but only one stipend is awarded per group. The deadline for submissions is 28 August 2026.
