2027-2028年度日本扩展摄影研究驻留项目

The Expanded Photography Research Residency, organized by FotoCreativaBA in partnership with IDEA R LAB, offers an international platform for artistic research that connects expanded photography, material processes and cross‑cultural dialogue. The program consists of a 12‑month online laboratory (March 2027 – February 2028) providing monthly curatorial mentorship, group sessions and thematic triggers, followed by a one‑month on‑site residency at IDEA R LAB in Kurashiki, Japan (March/April/May 2028). Each month three artists are hosted, giving a total of nine participants. The residency provides studio space, shared facilities, community living support and Wi‑Fi, while participants are responsible for travel, personal expenses and art materials. The call is open to visual artists, photographers and researchers worldwide, with applications accepted in English and Spanish. The deadline for applications is 30 December 2026. Selected artists will receive a month of residency, mentorship, and the opportunity to present their work in a final exhibition or online activation.
