The International Visegrad Fund (IVF) is a regional donor organisation supporting cross‑border cooperation and cultural exchange in Central and Eastern Europe. In 2026 IVF will launch five artist residency programmes, each targeting a specific discipline and location. The Fashion Residency in Milan (Italy) offers a two‑month research and “live fashion” experience for V4 fashion and design professionals, supported by Accademia Costume & Moda. The Literary Residency supports V4 writers and literary professionals, encouraging mobility and creative work across the region. The Performing Artist Residency focuses on contemporary theatre and dance, providing opportunities for V4 artists and companies to host and collaborate. The Visual Artist Residency in New York (USA) will host four artists in Brooklyn, offering studio space, creative freedom and weekly lectures. Finally, the Visual and Sound Artist Residency brings together V4 artists working in visual, sound, new media and mixed media for a two‑month stay. All programmes are open to artists and artist groups from the V4 countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia). Applicants must be citizens or residents of one of these countries and submit a portfolio and project proposal. The call opens on 15 September 2026; applications are accepted online through the IVF website. The residencies provide studio/workspace, mentorship and weekly lectures.
