Concurso de Arte San Japan

San Japan, the anime and gaming convention in San Antonio, Texas, runs two yearly art contests – a T‑Shirt Contest and a Mega Art Contest – under the theme “Food”. Artists submit original fan‑art in an anime‑style (no AI‑generated work, no overtly sexual or disturbing content) in EPS, AI, PSD, TIF or high‑resolution PNG/JPG formats with layers retained. Submissions are free. Winners receive a 30″ × 18′ Artist Alley booth (valued at over $1,200) and four Artist Alley badges, plus the possibility of additional merchandise or cash compensation. The 2026 contest closed on June 1 2026; the next edition will open on October 15 2026. The contest is open to all artists regardless of age, nationality, or professional status, provided the work meets the style and content guidelines.
