MacDowell Primavera-Verão 2026

MacDowell offers fully funded residencies to emerging and established artists worldwide in architecture, film/video, interdisciplinary arts, literature, music composition, theatre, and visual arts. Fellows receive exclusive use of a private studio, accommodation, and three prepared meals per day for up to eight weeks (average stay ~30 days). There is no residency fee; need‑based stipends of up to $1,500 and travel reimbursement grants are available. The program is open to individual artists and small collaborative teams (2–3 people) or collectives (3–12 people) for a two‑week residency. Applicants cannot be enrolled in a degree‑seeking program during the residency season, though doctoral candidates who have completed coursework may apply. Artists may apply once every 24 months. The next application deadline is February 10, 2027 for the Fall 2027–Winter 2028 season.
