The Architectural Studies Program at Amherst College, housed in the Department of Art and the History of Art, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer in Architectural Studies. The appointment begins on July 1 2026 with an initial three-year term, renewable for an additional three years and potentially leading to a senior lecturer position. The successful candidate will teach the equivalent of five courses per academic year, including introductory and intermediate architectural design studios, and may offer additional seminars aligned with their expertise. Responsibilities also include advising senior capstone and honors students and participating in the Five‑College Architectural Studies Council.
