この機会について

The QM‑Jerome Foundation Fellowship for Emerging Artists is a year‑long, fully funded program (2027‑2028) that selects two emerging visual artists who reside in New York City. Each fellow receives a $20,000 unrestricted award, professional‑development consultations, mentorship from Queens Museum staff and an established New York‑based artist, and a solo exhibition at the Queens Museum in 2028. The fellowship is designed for artists in the early stages of their public careers—typically with two to ten years of professional practice—who have not yet received major institutional recognition. Applicants must live in one of the five boroughs of NYC throughout the fellowship period and cannot be enrolled in a degree‑granting program. In addition to the financial stipend, fellows benefit from curatorial support, inclusion in a museum‑based cohort, and access to the museum’s resources for project development. The program aims to help artists refine ambitious new work, gain visibility within a major museum context, and build long‑term professional networks. Applications close on 28 September 2026 at 11:59 PM EST.
