テキスタイルアートの冬期展――アーティスト募集

The City of Portsmouth Public Art Review Committee (PARC) is seeking textile artists to participate in the Winter Exhibition of Textile Art, themed "Ice and Fire," which will run from February 1 to April 27, 2027 in the Portsmouth Room at City Hall. The call is open to artists who live or work in the New Hampshire Seacoast area, including Portsmouth, surrounding coastal communities, Great Bay estuary towns, and the Maine towns of Kittery, Kittery Point, and Eliot. Applicants must submit three JPEG samples of their textile work, along with name, email, phone, and website or social media, by November 30, 2026. All works must be pre‑wired for wall hanging; no pedestal pieces are accepted. A jury of PARC members will select a diverse range of pieces for a three‑month display. There is no application fee. Selected artists will have their CV and artwork information posted in the exhibit, but the City does not handle sales. Notification will be sent by December 10, 2026, followed by a contract. The exhibition offers public exposure in a municipal venue and inclusion in the city’s public art program.
