BlackMaria Microcinema + Gallery is seeking volunteers to support the growth of its independent cinema and art space in San Francisco. Volunteers will assist with promotion, outreach, community engagement, and cultural organizing. Tasks include sharing events and exhibitions with local communities, distributing flyers and posters, handling art, managing events and hospitality, ticketing and front‑of‑house duties, outreach and promotion, and cinema documentation. This role offers hands‑on experience in arts marketing, community outreach, audience development, and cultural organizing, while supporting a Black‑centric cultural space.
