The Painthouse Featured Artist Residency is a curated program that offers artists a platform to teach, inspire, and grow their audience. Emerging and established artists who develop original class or workshop concepts are invited to apply. The residency provides studio space, standard supplies, and full bar service for guests, as well as marketing support through The Painthouse’s social media and email campaigns. Artists are expected to promote their events on their own channels, lead the sessions, and maintain a professional, welcoming environment.

Compensation is based on attendance: $50 for 5–10 guests, $125 for 11–15, $150 for 16–20, $175 for 21–25, and $200 for a sold‑out event of 26 guests. Payments are made within an agreed timeframe after each event. There is no application fee, and the program is open to artists across disciplines such as watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, illustration, and other creative experiences.

The residency is ongoing, with applications accepted year‑round until positions are filled. Artists receive promotion, community networking, and the opportunity to build teaching credentials while earning income from their creative work.
