Founded in 1989 within Carnegie Mellon University's College of Fine Arts, the STUDIO for Creative Inquiry is a research center for interdisciplinary art that brings together artists, scientists, technologists, and humanists. Fellowships range from short-term collaborations to multi-year embedded research projects. Work supported here tends toward art-and-science, new media, and socially-engaged practice.
