Canada Council for the Arts
この機会について
The Sector Support, Innovation and Development Grant Program is a flagship initiative of the Canada Council for the Arts, designed to strengthen the Canadian arts sector through innovation, professional development, collaboration, and capacity building. The program provides up to $100,000 per application (with a maximum of $100,000 per year) to artists, arts workers, Indigenous communities, cultural groups, and arts organizations that propose projects aligned with the program’s priority focus areas. Eligible activities include developing new resources, supporting artists through production or management services, nurturing learning and professional development, conducting sector research, fostering collaboration, and testing innovative solutions to sector challenges. The grant supports a wide range of expenses such as honoraria, copyright and royalty payments, equipment purchases (up to 15% of the grant amount), project management fees, safety-related costs, and accessibility measures. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with the deadline being any time before the start date of the proposed project or activity. The application process requires a detailed project proposal, supporting documentation, and a budget, and is evaluated by a peer assessment committee. The program is open to a diverse range of applicants, including individual artists, arts professionals, First Nations, Inuit, and Métis artists and cultural workers, artistic groups, arts supporting groups, and various types of arts organizations, both non‑profit and for‑profit.
