サウンド・アート・ラボでの「Sounds of the Future」レジデンシー

The Sounds of the Future Residency, realized in collaboration with Sound Art Lab, Struer Tracks, SPOR Festival and the Danish Composers’ Society, supports professional artists and projects focused on development and exploration within sound art. Applicants – individuals or groups strongly linked to the Danish sound art scene – receive a three‑week residency (flexible dates within six months after the deadline) that includes a private atelier, full access to professional sound studios, electronic and wood workshops, a wide range of audio equipment, an anechoic chamber, and 3D‑printing facilities through partner Sound Hub Denmark. Residents also benefit from free accommodation in a 210 m² flat in central Struer, a shared kitchen, living space, bathroom, and a bicycle. An honorarium of 10,000 DKK per week (up to 30,000 DKK total) can be used for travel, living costs, equipment, software, or consultancy services. The program includes project sparring with the SAL team, technical assistance, communication support, and networking opportunities. Residents are required to give an artist talk at Sound Art Lab or elsewhere. Applications are free, submitted via KODA’s online grant system, and must include a project description, CV, portfolio, and preferred dates. The next deadline is 01 November 2026 at 23:59, with two residencies awarded per deadline.
