この機会について

The Rangøya International Cultural Centre offers a free residency program designed to foster cross‑national artistic collaboration. The residency takes place in a spacious old house on the island of Rangøya, near the Atlantic Road, and can accommodate 2–4 residents. Each bedroom is equipped with a desk and there is an additional working room, providing dedicated studio space for writing and creative work. The centre also offers Wi‑Fi, a shared kitchen, a living room, a small library, and laundry facilities. Local transport assistance from the airport is available, though travel and food expenses are expected to be covered by the artists or external funding.

Applications are accepted from at least two writers (or artists) who represent at least two different nationalities, with a maximum of four co‑applicants. At least one applicant must work within literature, and Nordic or Baltic connections are prioritized. The recommended length of the residency is one month, though shorter stays can be negotiated. Residents may be invited to participate in cultural events, public readings, and are encouraged to produce blog entries or reflections about their experience. The application deadline is September 1, 2026, and the residency will run in November and December 2026 and February and March 2027. The centre is supported by the Norwegian Cultural Fund, Sparebankstiftelsen Nordvest, and Møre og Romsdal County.
