The Public Art Archive (PAA) invites artists and organizations worldwide to submit completed public art projects to its online public engagement portal. PAA is the largest centralized database of public art information, offering interactive maps and advanced search tools that make artworks visible to a global audience. Submissions are free and may include up to 20 artworks per applicant, each with up to seven media files (images, audio, video). Required information for each artwork includes title, artist website, commissioning agency, location details, artwork type, description, and optional budget or funding source data. The call is open to any work that has been installed in a publicly accessible location at no cost, including commissioned, gifted, rotating, portable, performance, and new‑media works. Gallery‑based exhibitions are generally excluded. The submission process is conducted online via the CaFÉ platform, with a rolling deadline and no application fee. Accepted works become part of PAA’s searchable database, increasing visibility for the artist and contributing to the public record of civic art.
