2026年 新進デジタルアーティスト賞

EQ Bank’s 12th edition of the Emerging Digital Artists Award (EDAA) invites emerging digital artists—those within the first seven years of their professional practice—to submit screen‑based works across five categories: still image, moving image, interactive, extended reality (XR), and digital installation. Five winners will each receive a CAD 5,000 prize, a group exhibition at Gallery TPW in Toronto (January 2027), and a one‑year subscription to BlackFlash Magazine and Pilot Art List. Additionally, one winner will be commissioned to create a new artwork for a solo exhibition at the MacKenzie Art Gallery in Regina (2027‑28) with mentorship and production support, while another will produce an artist project for the Fall 2026 issue of BlackFlash Magazine, also with editorial mentorship. Applications are free and must be submitted online by 11:59 pm ET on 15 September 2026. The award is an annual, recurring opportunity that celebrates critical experimentation in digital media across Canada.
