Pilchuck Glass School
この機会について
Pilchuck Glass School, co‑founded by Dale Chihuly in 1971, is the world’s leading center for glass art education located in Stanwood, Washington, USA. Each year the school runs several artist residency programs, including the John H. Hauberg Fellowship, the Innovation in Image Residency, and the Emerging Artist in Residence program. Residencies last 2–3 weeks and provide artists with studio access to hot glass, flameworking, kiln, and cold‑working facilities, as well as dormitory housing (double‑occupancy), meals, and mentorship from faculty. Applications for the 2027 cycle open on September 22, 2026 and the primary deadline for the Hauberg Fellowship and Innovation in Image residencies is December 18, 2026; the Emerging Artist program closes on January 15, 2027. Applications are free, and financial aid and scholarships are available for eligible applicants. The program is open to artists who wish to expand their practice through glass or integrate glass with other media; the Emerging Artist residency requires prior glass experience.
