公募：社会参加型アート支援助成金 2027年度

The Kawamura Arts and Cultural Foundation’s Socially Engaged Art Support Grant FY2027 invites artists and art organisations to propose innovative, collaborative projects that address social issues in Japan through community participation and continuous engagement. Grants range from JPY 300,000 to JPY 2,000,000, with larger grants of JPY 1,000,000–2,000,000 for a single grantee and smaller grants of JPY 300,000–500,000 for 2–10 additional grantees. Projects must be newly initiated, implemented in Japan, and led by artists or an art organisation. The grant period is April 1 2027 to March 31 2028. Applications are free and the call is open until 31 December 2027. The foundation seeks projects that combine artistic innovation with sustained community collaboration, aiming to foster social change and strengthen human relationships.

Applicants must be artists or art organisations, projects must be implemented in Japan, any nationality or age allowed
