Lucitopia Residency Program

The Lucitopia Residency Program is a comprehensive artist residency hosted by C‑PLATFORM in Lucitopia Town, Zixi County, near Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province, China. It welcomes interdisciplinary and cross‑media practitioners – artists, curators, designers, researchers – working in fields such as painting, video, sound, performance, installation, architecture, fashion, food, nature, biology, agriculture, technology, literature and the humanities. Applicants aged 25‑55 may apply. The residency runs for two months per period, with five periods per year. Participants receive an open‑air creation site in the countryside and a shared indoor studio of about 100 m² equipped with internet, photocopier, laser engraving and 3D‑printing facilities. The program offers Chinese‑English translation support, transportation within the residency area, up to five days of hotel accommodation in Xiamen (including assistance for international participants), and a residency funding grant ranging from RMB 2,000 to RMB 20,000 depending on the project. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year via email, with required materials including a bilingual CV, portfolio, and the residency application form.
