Leeway × NextFab アート＋テクノロジー・レジデンシー

Leeway Foundation and NextFab have partnered to create the Leeway x NextFab Art + Technology Residency, a nine‑month program running from January to September 2027. The residency is open exclusively to artists who are past Leeway grantees and who reside in Bucks, Camden, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia County. Applicants must have submitted grant reports for previous projects, must not have received the Transformation Award or a Leeway residency in 2025, and must not be enrolled full‑time in an arts degree program. Selected residents receive a $3,000 stipend to cover supplies and documentation, a Standard Membership (valued at $1,971) granting unlimited access to NextFab’s 30,000‑sq‑ft makerspace in North Philadelphia, and dedicated exhibition/gallery space for a final public presentation. Residents are expected to develop an art‑for‑social‑change project that utilizes NextFab’s digital and traditional fabrication tools, and to present a public exhibition or talk during the residency. The application process is free and conducted via Submittable, with separate English and Spanish links. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, October 13, 2026, and notification follows 8‑10 weeks after the deadline.

Standard Membership ($1,971 value) to NextFab makerspace, unlimited access to facilities and equipment, exhibition/gallery space at the end of the residency, mentorship and promotional support.
