Phoenix Art Museum seeks a dynamic and accomplished Jacquie Dorrance Curator of Fashion to provide curatorial vision, artistic leadership, and scholarly direction for one of the nation’s distinguished museum fashion programs. The Curator will steward a collection of nearly 9,000 couture, accessories and ephemera spanning five centuries, develop original exhibitions, research, publications, acquisitions and public programmes, and collaborate with the Arizona Costume Institute. Responsibilities include leading the fashion department, developing a multi‑year exhibition program, conducting research and scholarly writing, overseeing collections care, cultivating relationships with designers and scholars, and supervising staff. The role requires an advanced degree in fashion studies, art history or related field and at least five years of curatorial experience in fashion‑design exhibitions. Salary range is $90,000–$100,000 annually with a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), museum membership, discounts, paid leave, etc.).
