HAP ヘッセン・スタジオ・プログラム

The HAP - studio programme, funded by the Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research and the Arts, supports outstanding young artists who are active in Hesse. Four studio spaces are offered free of charge at basis e.V. in Frankfurt for a period of four years (2027‑2031). In addition to the workspace, participants receive a specially designed mentoring programme, access to all basis facilities (project rooms, exhibition spaces) and the possibility of sponsored stays abroad of up to twelve months. Applications are evaluated by an external jury based on artistic profile, exhibition record and motivation. The programme aims to improve production conditions, foster research, exchange and networking among visual artists, musicians, performers and related disciplines.

Artists born in 1987 or later, holding a relevant university degree, not enrolled at a university at start of programme, main residence in Hesse; groups or collectives are also eligible.
