Galerie Farah Fakhri, founded in 2023 in Abidjan’s Plateau district, offers a residency programme that invites artists from the African continent and the Global South to immerse themselves in the vibrant artistic community of Côte d’Ivoire. Each residency provides a studio and gallery space, enabling artists to conduct rigorous research and produce a new body of work that is then exhibited either at the gallery or as part of an off‑site project. The programme aims to position local and diaspora artists in dialogue with international audiences and creative networks. The gallery is committed to fostering cultural exchange through its residency and educational programmes, serving as a dynamic hub for artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts. Applicants are required to submit a portfolio and CV; unsolicited submissions are not accepted. The residency offers studio/workspace, gallery space, exhibition opportunities, off‑site projects, and research support, but does not provide a stipend, housing, or travel support.
