この機会について

Fruitslice is a queer‑run quarterly magazine dedicated to publishing work by and for the LGBTQIA+ community. The publication accepts year‑round pitches for essays, features, interviews, criticism, reported pieces, fiction, poetry, visual art and experimental work through an open pitch form on Submittable. In addition, Fruitslice occasionally announces issue‑specific open calls for finished writing and artwork curated around a particular theme; details, guidelines and deadlines for these are posted on their Submittable page when available. The ongoing series “Notes from the Micro Scene” invites nonfiction dispatches of 500–1,000 words that document specific queer‑focused communities or subcultures. All submissions are free to submit, and the magazine does not offer monetary compensation, honoraria, or print copies; accepted pieces are published digitally in the magazine’s e‑reader version. Contributors must identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community, submit original, unpublished work, and may not use AI‑generated content. Accepted formats include .doc or .docx files for nonfiction dispatches; other categories follow Submittable’s guidelines. The call is open to writers and visual artists worldwide, with the organization based in Los Angeles, USA.
