City of Excelsior Springs
この機会について
The City of Excelsior Springs is participating in the National Endowment for the Arts and U.S. Conference of Mayors’ Freedom 250 City Art Poster Project, a nationwide initiative celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary. Local artists, students, designers, illustrators, and other creative community members who have a meaningful connection to Excelsior Springs—current residents, former residents, business owners, students, or people who work in the community—are invited to submit an original, vertical poster measuring 24 inches wide by 32 inches tall. The poster must include the words “Excelsior Springs, Missouri” and “America 250,” be submitted as a high‑resolution PDF (minimum 300 dpi, CMYK), and must not contain AI‑generated content unless disclosed. Entries are judged on storytelling of Excelsior Springs (30 pts), artistic excellence and creativity (25 pts), interpretation of the America 250 theme (20 pts), visual impact and originality (15 pts), and reproduction quality (10 pts). The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 30 2026. The winning artist will be announced on October 19 2026 and the poster will be displayed at the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ Winter Meeting in Washington, D.C., in January 2027, representing Excelsior Springs in the national exhibition.
