この機会について

Woman Made Gallery (WMG) invites women and non‑binary artists at all career stages to submit original works that employ fiber or textile‑based practices for the juried exhibition “Unraveled”. The exhibition, running from January 16 to February 13 2027 in Chicago, explores contemporary approaches to fiber and textile art, addressing themes of memory, identity, labor, and cultural heritage. Submissions may include sewing, weaving, quilting, crochet, embroidery, tapestry, lace‑making, natural dyeing, wearable pieces, felting, knotting, soft sculpture, and expanded fiber practices. Each artist may submit up to three works per application and may submit two applications total (up to six works). An entry fee of $30 applies, with fee waivers available for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ artists. Works must be original, created by the artist, and not primarily generated by AI. Size limits: no larger than 6 ft in width and 75 lb unless the artist handles delivery. Accepted works may be offered for sale (40 % commission to WMG). The gallery is located at 1332 S. Halsted St., Chicago, IL, and artists worldwide may apply, covering their own shipping costs if selected.
