EFFEA 第5回公募 – 新進アーティスト向けレジデンス支援プログラム「European Festivals Fund」

The European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists (EFFEA) is an initiative of the European Festivals Association (EFA) supported by the Creative Europe programme. EFFEA Call #5 opens for applications from 1 September to 3 November 2026. The programme offers an artist‑in‑residence experience that is co‑produced by a leading festival together with at least two partner festivals, each from a different eligible European country. Emerging artists – defined by their novelty to programmers and potential for international breakthrough rather than by age – may be individuals or groups across all artistic disciplines. Selected artists receive dedicated time, studio space, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop new works or expand existing projects while building lasting networks with festival programmers and audiences across Europe. Two funding streams are available: the Discovery track provides approximately 40 grants of €8,000, and the Established track offers around 10 grants of €15,000. The residency includes seminars, workshops, and master‑classes, as well as European visibility and capacity‑building support. Applications are submitted by festivals on behalf of the artists, and the call is part of an annual cycle of EFFEA residencies.
