The Common Guild, a charitable contemporary visual arts organisation in Glasgow, Scotland, is seeking a Curator to join its team on a permanent part‑time basis (0.8 FTE, 28 hours per week). The role involves researching, developing and shaping the organisation’s artistic programme, working closely with the Director, Production Manager and artists to deliver exhibitions, commissions, events and publications. Responsibilities include project management, budget oversight, artist liaison, coordination of agreements, loans, shipping, travel and accommodation, as well as line‑management of the Programme Assistant and Communications Coordinator. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of contemporary visual art, experience working with artists, and the legal right to work in the UK. Salary is £34,000 full‑time equivalent, pro‑rata, with benefits such as a 4 % employer pension contribution, Employee Assistance Programme, professional development support and flexible working options.
