この機会について
Creative Learning is a Manhattan Arts Grants program administered by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC). It offers funding to individual artists and nonprofit organizations to develop and deliver sequential, participatory arts‑learning projects for older adults in Manhattan throughout 2027. Projects may span any artistic discipline and must take place in accessible community settings such as senior centers, recreation centers, public libraries, or community centers across Manhattan, from Inwood to the Battery. The program prioritises projects that provide deep, skill‑building curricula and meaningful creative experiences for participants, especially those from historically under‑served communities. Grants range from $1,000 to $17,500 and are funded jointly by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York State Council on the Arts. Eligible applicants must reside or be based in Manhattan, be at least 18 years old, and either be an individual artist or a nonprofit organization (or an individual with a fiscal sponsor). Applications are submitted via Submittable and must include work samples, a lesson plan, and a project budget. The deadline for the 2027 cycle is November 12, 2026, at 6 p.m. EST. Selected projects receive full grant funding through ACH transfer, and recipients are required to submit final reports after their public culminating event.
